Vermont Mensa Mini-RG

Theme: Farm-To-Plate

August 3-5, 2012 -- Killington, VT

Join us for Vermont Mensa’s Mini-RG August 3-5 in Killington, Vermont at The Inn of the Six Mountains. (We think it used to be called the Inn of the Seven Mountains, but then Irene washed one of the mountains away.) This will be a great weekend with speakers on the topic of Farm-to-Plate, as well as food, games, movies, food, great folks, fun times, and probably some food.

This will undoubtedly be the best Mini-RG you’ll be able to find with a farm-to-plate theme held in the eastern half of the United States in the third quarter of this year!  (The competition’s tough.)

Location of RG:            Killington is in Rutland County, and the citizens have twice voted to secede from Vermont and join New Hampshire. It was called Sherburne for nearly 200 years, until it reclaimed its original name in 1999.  (Because you’re wondering, the movements failed because both states’ legislatures would have had to approve.)
